GapCon GmbH is German company for production and supplying Controlled Swimming-Roll of all kind and High-Performance Calendar.
The company was established by Mr. Wolfgang Wiertz (1986 – 1999 Head of Engineering, COO of company Eduard Küsters GmbH & Co.KG and 2000 – 2006 Head of Sales and MD SIWACO of company Walzen Irle GmbH) and Mr. Wolfgang Mark (1987 – 2006 Director Engineering & Development of company Eduard Küsters GmbH & Co.KG). Their plentiful knowledge and experience in designing and manufacturing controlled Swimming-Roll, their competitive awareness and pioneering spirit attract many former colleagues with long-standing experience to join the company. Accession of the people brought not only the experience in administration in fabrication, but also new ideas in construction and developments.
GapCon GmbH has got brilliant success in paper-industry and has a leading position in the world-market. In Chinese paper industry, nearly 80% of the investors by new project decided for GapCon calendar.
GapCon calendar and S-Roll for nonwoven field attract more and more widespread attention in the world market since last years. The production line, thanks cooperation of Neumag and GapCon GmbH, is running perfectly by a Turkey customer; Freudenberg bought S-Roll for their existing calendar from GapCon.
In year 2013 GapCon GmbH decided to work with Beijing ORIT Co., Ltd for development Of Chinese nonwoven market. The name GapCon and its products become increasingly popular. We received several orders in 2014. The machines will be supplied and installed in 2015 one after another.

OTHER SERVICES
GapCon offers all types of services related to calenders and a variety of crown compensated roll types, either on-site or in own service facility of GapCon. GapCon is ready to repair and/or replace the rolls on existing competitor’s calender.
The workshop facility is equipped with a test bench to test the function of all crown compensated rolls with regard to pressure build-up, internal and external leaking, dynamic behavior and balancing conditions.
After Sale Service
GapCon GmbH respect to submit the customers fast and perfect services. Therefore GapCon GmbH established subsidiary in Shanghai. The Chinese technician will be sent to headquarter in Germany frequently for technical training and improving awareness of service.
